I have the title of "composer melodyst" obtained from SIAE with a
statal exam in 1998.
In July 2002 I won a scolarship for the Berklee Music College clinics at the
Umbria Jazz Music Festival. This scolarship was awarded me by the Officina Musicale
School in Mogliano Veneto (VE) for my piano skills.
My music career starts in 1992 with some compositions for the Amiga 500
computer (Protraker modules) that received very positive critics in a national
computer magazine (The Games Machine).
In 1994 I started my classical piano studies with Stefano Bellato, switching
to jazz with Paolo Vianello.
In the same year I won the third prize in an international MIDI composition
and arrangement competition (Pixel Art Expo, Rome, italy) with the tune "Land's
End".
In 1996 I recorded with a very low budget a pop tune, "The music is playin'
" that got a critic on a natonal music review ("MUSICA!", from
the newspaper "La Repubblica" ). This publication interested a local
radio station that diffused this song.
activities: from 1995 to 1998 I played keyboards/piano in a rock band and from
1998 in jazz / acid jazz bands (Move Over, Anna Fanchi Group, Pietro Girardi
Quartet), doing concerts in several manifestations ("Venezia Suona",
"Venice Carnival" "Festa dell'Unità", ecc.), and
music pubs in the Venice area ("Vapore", "Posto 241", ecc.)
In August 1999 I published some free MP3 on the american indipendent music website
"Audiogalaxy", having an immediate success (over 1600 downloads) and
feedbacks from italian, english and spanish listeners. Now some of my MP3's
are available on "Vitaminic".
From November 2001 I am a promoter/endorser for Yamaha Keyboards Italy.From
here you can download some demo tunes. NOTE: this music is
all copyrighted, so if you would like to use it in any project please contact
me.setup: my studio is based on an Intel DAW (digital audio workstation) capable
of 24bit/96 Khz recording.
It's equipped with a Terratec soundcard and many audio processing tools. My
outboards are a Roland JV 1010 Expander, Yamaha P80 Digital Piano, Behringer
MX802A mixer.
When required, I have the chance to enrich my arrangements with collaborations
from other musicians (guitarists, bass players. saxophonists).
